Vytex® Natural Rubber Latex (NRL) ultra low protein-based latex adhesives offer dramatic health, safety and environmental benefits to manufacturers and end users. Vytex NRL is an eco-friendly, advanced latex material with virtually undetectable levels of the antigenic proteins that can lead to latex allergies. The key benefit is that Vytex NRL has reduced antigenic protein content to virtually undetectable levels without compromising desirable physical properties of natural rubber latex, such as stability, compoundability and coating.
Vytex NRL is considered “latex safe” by noted organizations such as the Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council and the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), which set industry standards using ASTM testing methodologies.
Unlike most synthetic alternatives, Vytex NRL applies the principles of green chemistry, is made from a natural raw material, and has no volatile organic compounds (VOCs), toxic chemicals, or known or suspected human carcinogens.
